A Crimson Tradition
The 1st release in “The Greatest Season Ever” Series
On January 7, 2010 the Alabama Crimson Tide trampled the Texas Longhorns (37-21) in the BCS National Championship game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. This image shows Coach Saban paying homage to Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas, Paul “Bear” Bryant, and Gene Stallings as he joins these legendary coaches as the master builders of the “Crimson Tradition.” These four coaches are subtly rendered within the facets of the crystal football trophy. Vignettes of the game’s key plays surround Coach Saban to signify that the trophy is the fulfillment of Saban’s “process.”
