Description
In observance of the upcoming 25th anniversary of Coach Bryant’s final game in the 1982 Liberty Bowl,
“Liberty” by Daniel Moore,
has been reformatted as a unique print of our popular “Collegiate Classics Series.”
This was a fiercely fought battle pitting Bryant’s Alabama Crimson Tide against the Fighting Illini of Illinois in freezing winds and temperatures that plummeted to 19°F. Coach Bryant’s plan to retire from coaching had been widely reported and his players were determined to send him out the winner that he truly was.
This they did with a 21-15 victory, which set the then all-time win record for Coach Bryant at 323.
In commemoration of this special anniversary, this historic Daniel A. Moore painting of “Liberty” is being offered in a 12 X 12 1/2 limited edition of only 1,982 signed and numbered regular edition prints.
The original “Liberty” seal is embossed in silver in the margin of each print.
Each print comes with a Certificate of Limited Edition, a summary of the game and a key explaining the symbolism that Daniel Moore uses in the painting.
Believe me, this is one you dont want to miss.
