It was closer than Alabama wanted, but the Crimson Tide’s 41-34 victory over No. 1 Georgia was one impacted by freshmen in the game’s biggest moments.

In that sense, freshman defensive back Zabien Brown’s end zone interception was the play that sealed the first major victory of the Kalen DeBoer era. Brown, in defense of receiver Colbie Young, jumped in the air, high-pointed the ball and pulled down the game-winning pick with 43 seconds remaining to seal the deal against the Georgia Bulldogs.
