Description
Daniel Moore released his coffee table book, “Iron Bowl Gold” in 2005 and it relives the 41 years of the traditional Iron Bowl at Birmingham’s historic Legion Field.
Each game is depicted in an original painting by the renowned sports artist; documented through articles from The Birmingham News and described by commentary from legendary sportscaster Keith Jackson.
These paintings are now available as a series of limited edition prints.

A lot was on the line as the Cotton Bowl bid was up for both teams. It was a close game, but Bama pulled it off, for the fourth year in a row. The 1953 Plainsmen seniors never won an a match against their in-state rival.
