Description
This panoramic photo, taken on September 2, 2023, at Toomer’s Corner, captures the return of one of college athletics’ best-known traditions, the rolling of the Auburn Oaks. This cherished, decades old, tradition of fans throw rolls of toilet paper over the limbs of the mighty oaks after an Auburn victory, is part of Auburn culture. In 2011, the original oaks were found to have been poisoned and despite attempts to save them, it was determined they could not survive and had to be removed. The new transplanted oaks have now been considered established enough for the tradition to resume.
Our panoramic prints begin as a high definition photo that is printed on heavy art stock paper to resist waviness and warping due to heat and humidity. The print is then topped with a UV resistant coating to minimize fading.
Our panoramic posters measure 40″ wide x 13.5″ tall.
