Description
The University of Alabama’s 25th SEC football championship came with Alabama grinding down Florida 29-15 on Saturday the 5th of December in the Georgia Dome. The defense provided the constant pressure and the offense, led by Derrick Henry and an unsung Jake Coker, supplied just enough motion to carve another part of UA football history.
It also opened the door for more as Alabama will advance to the College Football Playoff when it is announced this morning.
“I remember after the Ole Miss game,” Alabama coach Nick Saban said. “Every time I would have a press conference, someone would ask me, ‘What are you going to do to this week to prepare better?’ And I would say if there was a better way, we would have done it last week.
“After that game, this team said that they wanted to be a a different team. So I’m really proud that they were able to do that.
