It don’t get much bigger than the Third Saturday in October and this one on October 18th, 2025, lived up to the hype!

Zabien Brown returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown at the end of the first half of the October 19, 2025, Alabama vs. Tennessee football game. The sophomore cornerback picked off a pass from Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar in the end zone and ran the length of the field, giving Alabama a 23-7 lead at halftime. The play was a key moment in Alabama’s 37-20 victory.

The Play:

With 9 seconds left in the first half, Tennessee was at Alabama’s 1-yard line, facing a 16-7 deficit. Tennessee went for a touchdown with a play-action pass on the final snap.

The Result:

Zabien Brown intercepted the pass in the end zone and returned it 99 yards for a touchdown as time expired.

The Impact:

The pick-six gave Alabama a 23-7 lead at halftime, a momentum-shifting play that ultimately helped secure the 37-20 win.
